After successfully passing the state final examination (SFE), ninth-grade graduates receive a state-recognized certificate of basic general education. Students who complete all subjects with excellent grades are awarded a special certificate (with distinction). This document confirms completion of the basic school curriculum and entitles them to continue their education in the 10th grade or to enroll in secondary vocational education institutions (colleges, technical schools).
